iOS 4.2 for iPad, iPhone & iPodTouch will available in November, 2010

iOS 4.2 is a surprise. As we all are waiting for the iOS 4.1, which will be available next week, Steve Jobs surprised us with iOS 4.2 which will be a major iOS upgrade for iPad and will be available in November, 2010. This will be a free upgrade for all iDevices (iPad, iPhone & iPodTouch)
This upgrade will bring the following features..

support for wireless printing
stream of audio, video and photos through the new AirPlay feature over WiFi. (Previously known as Air Tunes)

Apple’s iOS 4.1 will be available next week.

Just a few minutes ago, Steve Jobs at Apple Special Event, announced that the iOS 4.1 will be released next week for all iPhone & iPodTouch. According to Steve Jobs, all the bugs including proximity, Bluetooth, iPhone 3G Performance issue are fixed.

iOS 4.1 Won’t Fix The Proximity Sensor Issue on iPhone 4?

According to Steve Jobs iPhone 4 is perhaps the best product ever made at Apple and its been judged the number one smart-phone. But, unfortunately, it has been facing quite a few issues since the launch; first and most importantly Antennagate (Which seems to be a very minor issue according to Steve Woznaik) and then come the proximity sensor glitch that would result in the hanging up of calls or mysterious button press that would mute or invite another person into the call.

More than Quarter Million Active Apps in Apple’s AppStore

Apple launched AppStore back in 2008 along with iPhone 3G & iOS 2.0. According to 148Apps, Apple’s U.S. AppStore surpasses the quarter million milestone on Friday, the 27th, August 2010., in just 779 days (Two Years & 49 Days after it Opened). As of today (now), we are looking at 252,894 Active Apps which includes apps for all iOS versions and for all iDevices (iPhone / iPad / iPodTouch) from 50,606 publishers.

Total Active Apps: 252,894
Total Inactive Apps: 49,769
Total Apps Seen: 302,663
Unique App Publishers: 50,606

Want to know whats happening NOW at the Apple’s Special Event?

Few Days ago Apple started sending out invitations for a Special Event which is schedule for the 1st September, 2010 at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater. I bet a lot of us are every excited to see Apple launching New iPodTouch, AppleTV & iOS 4.1 (Loaded with new features.)

GMail is getting more and more powerful day by day. If you have a GMail account, you can Voice & Video Chat with your friends right from your GMail Account using your computer’s microphone, speakers and a webcam.
