Samsung Galaxy S rooted ahead of release in US

Samsung’s Galaxy S lineup is yet to arrive on all carriers (AT&T Captivate, T-Mobile Vibrant, Verizon Fascinate & Sprint Epic 4G) in the US pretty soon. That said, Samsung’s Galaxy S (i9000) has been available outside US market for some time. A Russian developer LeshaK of Samdroid was the first to gain root access on the Glaaxy S (i9000) and it seems to be a easy root.

Samsung i8910 HD runs 62 apps at once. Can we expect the same from iPhone OS 4.0?

As we know Apple’s iPhone OS 4.0 is featured with Multitasking. Apple have put plenty of effort and time to get this multitasking on its next generation iPhone OS with out compromising on its battery life and performance. All you need to know about Samsung Galaxy S

Well, HTC EVO 4G was not the only powerful Android Powered Phone to debut at the CTIA Trade Show. Samsung also surprised us with its Galaxy S loaded with Android 2.1 with a 4inch Super AMOLED screen and 1GHz Cortex-A8 processor. According to a Samsung reps “Samsung Galaxy S may launch on any carriers near you that mean it will launch on all carrier. (GSM based technology)”. We can expect to see it in the store this year.

How to flash Android 2.1 on your Samsung i5700 (GALAXY Spica)

Samsung i5700 GALAXY is originally loaded with Android 1.5. Samsung is still working on getting Android 2.1 for its GALAXY. We can expect this to be happened by early 2nd Quarter. A leaked ROM suggests that Android 2.1 is heading to Samsung Spica. Guys at samdroid was able to flash Android 2.1 on a Samsung i5700 GALAXY Spica.

MWC 2010 – Samsung introduces the Wave or S8500 with images

Samsung officially announced the Samsung Wave or S8500, the first 100% Samsung mobile. Loaded with its own OS, the Bada. With its Super AMOLED touch screen it is going to be 20 percent more visible in direct sunlight than current AMOLED displays like Zune HD and Nexus One. In this current version we will be regretting the absence of multi-touch. We hope to see multi-touch in the next version.

Samsung Phone with its Super AMOLED to debut next week

Samsung is all into displays. In our recent post we have mentioned about a Samsung Transparent laptop. Now, its time for Samsung Phone with a Super AMOLED screen. Which promises to be 20 percent more visible in direct sunlight than current AMOLED displays like Zune HD and Nexus One. Samsung also estimates that the screen is about 5 times “clearer” than the regular OLED screens.

Transparent OLED laptop from Samsung will be out in a year

This glassy looking Samsung’s 14” transparent OLED laptop had attracted a significant crowd in CES event.
