Some Windows 7 users encountering false battery alerts

Users/Owners of Windows 7 notebooks are encountering an unusual problem with false alerts or warnings that their batteries are dying, Microsoft said today.

“We are investigating this issue in conjunction with our hardware partners, which appears to be related to system firmware,” a Microsoft representative said in a statement on Tuesday.
“We are working with our partners to determine the root cause and will update the forum with information and guidance as it becomes available.”

Apple’s Bootcamp 3.1 for Windows 7 released.

Yesterday Apple released its Bootcamp 3.1 for Windows 7 32bit and 64bit.
