Motorola Droid X Bootloader is locked, Flash Custom ROM’s in question

Planning to buy a Motorola Droid X and want to flash a custom ROM’s on it? Well, it looks like you many not be able to do so as Motorola Droid X‘s Bootloader is locked as similar to Motorola Milestone which took good 7 months and still fighting with it.

Bootloader locked – What does that mean to a average consumer, well nothing really. The only people who will be affected by this news are those interested in the extra tweaks. along with the ability to create and flash custom ROM’s.

Rooting Motorola Droid X – Well, this doesn’t mean that once will not be able to root it. Root access should still be obtainable so you will be able to use all those fun and favorite applications that requires root.
