Now, with the release of iPhone OS 4.0 & its SDK, we learned that, Next Gen iPhone will have an ability to capture video at higher resolutions than the current standard 640X480 (VGA) resolution. The following preset values suggest that the Next Gen iPhone will be able to capture at 720p (1280X720) resolution.

Back in January, we heard that the Next Gen iPhone will be loaded with a 5 Megapixel camera. Looking at the above preset values, this rumor seems to complement each other. Though, we are not sure about the Next Gen iPhone name, but few of them started calling iPhone HD which seems to fit well with 720p video recording capability.

We are not too far away from knowing what else Next Gen iPhone to offer. As, Steve Job will be announcing the Next Gen iPhone at the WWDC Event, which is scheduled on the 7th June, 2010.
