Couple days ago, Apple released new multi-touch Magic Trackpad for $69, which offers users the ability to use multi-touch gestures, including click, scroll, swipe, and rotate on a desktop Mac or PC. This wireless trackpad uses Bluetooth for connectivity and 2 AA batteries for power. If you want to see it in action, watch the video at the bottom of the post.

As very product of Apple gets a teardown treat from iFixit, this time its the Magic Trackpad. According to the iFixit, the new hardware follow a trend of recent Apple Products: “thin and pretty = not user serviceable.”. The hardware is very thin profile made up of smooth glass and aluminum.

Though the Magic Trackpad surface is 80 percent larger than the trackpad found in current MacBook Pro models, the hardware’s touch panel is just 0.5mm thick.
