Would you like to improve your Opera browser experience ? You have landed at the right page. Here are few tweaks with which you can improve the performance of your Opera browser. You could tweak the smoothness on scrolling and zooming on your HTC HD2 with just few registry settings. Touching registry setting is little scary but, don’t worry – We will try and make very simple.

If you are not comfortable editing registry setting please don’t edit. We are not responsible for any damage or breakage of your phone.

Step 1: We need to install a small tool to edit registry settings. – I personally use Mobile Registry Editor v1.11 – To get more free apps for your Windows Mobile access here

Step 2: Run Mobile Registry and started editing the following values..

• Increase Scrolling FPS – Change the key value to – [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opera\Info] PanFps=50 (Don’t enter a value higher than 50 or it will not take effect..)
• Increase Zooming FPS – Change the key value to – [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opera\Info] ZoomFps=50 (Don’t enter a value higher than 50 or it will not take effect..)
• Lower Default Zoom – Change the key value to - [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opera\Prefs\Adaptative Zoom] Default Zoom=100 (Really takes advantage of the HD2 beautiful screen)
