Do you have a Nexus One and running Desire ROM? Then you know what I talking about. Well, for folks who are planning to load Desire ROM on to your Nexus One, you will notice that the Capacitive button on your Nexus One will no longer light up.
But, now, with the help of vnbuddy2002 a member of XDA Developer, we can enable it to light up. Just by running a script in the background will do the magic. The developer has used GScript (lite version available free in the Market) to enable this as a temporary mod until the relevant changes are made to the kernel driver.
Features:
- Lit up the capacitive buttons when your screen is on
- Turn off capacitive buttons when your screen is off

Step 1: Download LED_ON
Step 2: While its downloading, download GScript (lite version) from Android Market and install it.
Step 3: Connect your phone to the computer and extract and move the downloaded (LED_NO) file onto your device [SDCARD]://gscript/
Step 4: Start GScript lite application
Step 5: Go to Menu >> Add script >> Load file >> LED_ON.sh
Step 6: Make sure you check “Needs SU?”
Step 7: Press “Save”
Step 8: Once that is done you will see the “LED_ON” from the list. You would need to execute (run) it by a single tap on “LED_ON”
Step 9: It will prompt for root permission, please make sure you allow the script to run as root.
Note: You should ONLY run this ONCE each time you reboot ( restart ) your Nexus One to enable Capacitive button.
There you have it. Enjoy your HQ video.
