Overclocking doesn’t only applies to Droid it applies to most of the computer devices.

Overclocking Droid

Your Droid by default comes with 550 MHz, with the help of this process your could increase it up-to 1300 MHz. Making your Droid run much more faster. Credit goes to tasmanian_droid at AllDroid, who worked hard on this. To get this on your Droid, your Droid should be rooted. If you haven’t rooted your phone, please follow this link to root your Motorola Droid.

Unfortunately, tasmanian_droid dint upload the evilboot1_3g.img yet. Because, tasmanian_droid feels that, its not stable. We will keep you posted when its available.
