For anyone searching to do this, I did it without putting the phone in restore mode. Just shift click the Restore button in itunes and select the file.

On a side note: thanks for providing the files… sucks you had to replace the boot logo with your own… but doesn’t really bother me… thanks anyway…

For those with WIFI problem… Place your iphone in the freezer for about 30minutes.. This will make your WIFI work again… I have done this and now my WIFI works perfectly… I do not know the logic on this, and it sounds funny but believe me it works… Do not worry coz it will not destroy nor will it freeze your iphone…

    • MacHackPC said:

I am glad it worked for you. Others who would like to try this (Placing your iPhone in the freezer), please do it on your WN risk. We at MacHackPC will not be responsible for breakage or damage of your phone.
