iPhone is stuck at Apple Logo
iPhone Stuck on Apple Logo After Installing an App from Cydia/ICY
Some times after installing an App from ICY or Cydia your iPhone may get stuck at Apple Logo. iTunes recognizes that an iPhone is connected but, it won’t identify that, its your iPhone.
Problem: Your iPhone is stuck at Apple Logo.
Here is the Fix:
- Download and Install iPhone Browser here (Windows)
- Download and install EditPad Lite - WordPad or Note Pad won’t work
- Once installed, connected you iPhone, it should recognize (If not, disconnected your iPhone and reconnect…)
- Now, navigate to this folder “/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist”
- Copy this file “com.apple.SpringBoard.plist”and save it on your Desktop (This copy will be your back up copy. You can replace this file if you make any mistake).
- Now, Right click on “com.apple.SpringBoard.plist” (on your iPhone Browser) and Rename it to “com.apple.SpringBoard.plist.txt”
- Now, Right click on “com.apple.SpringBoard.plist.txt” and open with EditPad Lite.
- Now, Look for the following lines – <dict>
<key>DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES</key>
<string>/Library/Frameworks/SpringBoard.framework/SpringBoard.dylib:/Library/XXXXX/XXXXX</string>
</dict>
- Edit these line of text to – <dict>
<key>DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES</key>
<string></string>
</dict>
- Now, Close all your windows and reboot you iPhone by Holding the Power and Home button for few minutes. Till you see the apple Logo and release the buttons.
Unfortunately, ICY is little buggy. So, we recommend not to install any apps from ICY.
Happy Hacking…
