Let me start with THANKING GeoHot for his hard-work. We all need to appreciate GeoHot to declined 10K  from Jody Sander. Because, GeoHot believes that jailbreaking and unlocking utilities should be free of cost.

Here comes Blackra1n RC3 in both versions (Windows & Mac)  – is available for download.

This version of blackra1n has blacksn0w an ability to unlock your iPhone with baseband 05.11.07.

What do I need?

• iPhone 3G or 3GS
• Download blackra1n
• WiFi Connection

Here is the step by step process on how to jailbrealk your iPhone 2G/3G/3GS

Step 1: Download 3.1.2 in iTunes And Download blackra1n here : – blackra1n – Win – blackra1n – Mac

Step 2: Connect your iPhone and restore your iPhone using iTunes

• Download iPhone OS 3.1.2 for iPhone 2G
• Download iPhone OS 3.1.2 for iPhone 3G
• Download iPhone OS 3.1.2 for iPhone 3GS

Step 3: Once done, keep it connected and launch blackra1n

Step 4: Click “make it ra1n”

Step 5: In 15 seconds you are done jailbreak your iPhone.

You may get the following error before the above error. Don’t get panicked. If you dont get the above error, just redo the process. You will be golden.

GREAT we are done with the Jailbreaking process. Now, its time for some sn0w (Unlocking action…..)

Your next step will be how to unlock your iPhone using blacksn0w 3G/3GS.

For 2G user follow till Step 4 and then Install BootNeuter from Cydia. Turn ON Unlock and Click on Flash – This process takes couple minutes. Then your phone need to be rebooted to be unlocked.

Once done Jailbreaking your iPhone, your iPhone will reboot.

Check your WiFi Connection. Go to your iPhone Setting > Wi-Fi > Choose a Network > Enter your password.

Step 1: Launch blackra1n.

Step 3: Tap on Install to “download and install Cydia”

Step 6: Now, you will see that your iPhone will be searching for network. Don’t worry, It will take about a minute. But, no big deal. remember you Jailbroked it in 15 sec.
