Lets start with what is Push Notification: Apple’s Push Notification maintain a persistent IP connection to the phone and let a 3rd party server ping Apple’s notification service in order to push out notifications to your device, which can be in the form of badges, sounds or custom textual alerts.

This is a great service. But, when you activate your iPhone 2G/3G/3GS without an authorized SIM card and are running OS 3.0 or higher, then the chances of push notification working on your iPhone is very less. Other existing fixes haven’t worked because there is only one certificate that many people are sharing. To get the push notification service to work, every device needs a unique 1024 bit certificate.

Here is the Step by Step Process on how to get your own PushFix 2.0

Step 1: Launch Cydia > Tap on Manage > Tap on Sources > Tap on Edit > Tap on Add

Step 2: Add the following in the text field “http://cydia.pushfix.info” > Tap on Add Source

Step 3: Once you added the source, email or Go to this page to PURCHASE PushFix with your iPhone IMEI number (To get your IMEI – Launch Phone App and type *#06# in the keypad)

Step 4: Once the payment is cleared, guys at PushFix will register your IMEI number and will email you back one it ready to install.

Step 5: Go back to Source in Cydia > Tap on Pushfix 2.0 > Tap on Install and then Confirm to complete the installation.

Step 6: Once done installation, it will be asked to Reboot you device.

Note: With out registering your IMEI number you will not be able to Install PushFix.
