After a long wait 1Password for Chromium is getting read for polish. This 1Password extension is out in a alpha stage, meaning early development stage. If you are not aware of 1Password ? It’s a GREAT tool/utility for Mac with which you can store all your passwords in one place. These passwords will be secured and with 1Password you can easy to access all your regular web services.
As I mentioned, this 1Passowrd extension is in its alpha stage. The only features implemented in this version are the ability to unlock 1Password and fill simple Logins. Autosubmit is not implemented yet and the Login form filling algorithm is weak so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t fill all your Logins.
Here’s how to install the 1Password Chrome extension:
Step 1: Make sure you have 1Password 3.0.4 (or later) installed. – Download it from HERE
Step 2: Install the developer build of Chrome or the latest Chromiump. The latest developer version is required to have the needed extensions support.
Step 3: Enter this URL into Chrome’s address bar: http://agile.ws/s/1489c2cb7
Step 4: Choose Window > Extensions menu, click the Developer mode link, and then click “Update extensions now” button to make sure you have the latest version.
