Apple’s iSlate to support multiple carriers including Verizon 3G network.

By Mac Hack PC 6 January 2010 View Comments

Rumor is still a rumor. But, we are pretty sure that Apple is coming up with a Tablet and its called iSlate. Speculations are that, Apple will reveal its iSlate on 27th  Jaunary, 2010 Event. As we have mentioned, this event will focus on MOBILITY. When we talk about mobility in Apple’s world, two things will come to our mind (Tablet – iSlate & Phone – iPhone). According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple has been working on two different material finishes for their iSlate, which will sport a 10- or 11-in. screen. This is GREAT! I am very excited about it.

Apple's iSlate to Support Multiple=

Much more interesting part is, Apple’s iSlate will use Verizon‘s wireless data network to connect to the internet when even users are out of Wi-Fi coverage area. Not only just Verizon, Apples tablet will support multiple carriers – Our source are certain that, its a definite that Apple’s Tablet will use Verizon’s 3G Network.

In our recent post we have mentioned that CDMA iPhone comming to Verizon. But, Apple & Verizon are in conflict on pricing. By this we can come to conclusion that Apple and Verizon are willing to work together.

According to Wall Street Journal, Apple will unveil its Tablet- iSlate by end of this month (January Event) and launch in March 2010. If Apple won’t launch iSlate in March, I am sure that it will launch on WWDC 2010 event.
