Its been a week that Apple released the new iPhone firmware 3.1.3. As you know, the newer base-band is not unlockable. But, thing have just turned around. Sherif Hashim has discovered an exploit that could allow iPhone users to unlock their iPhone on 3.1.3 firmware with base-band 05.12.01.

Now, this exploit has been handed over to the iPhone Dev Team. The iPhone Dev team look into this and confirmed that, an exploit was found and it will help to unlock iPhone with base-band 05.12.01.
