iPhone OS 3.1.2 is a minor update, but it may be important for all the people that experienced problems after they’ve upgraded to version 3.1.

Details of the release included:

- Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep
- Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
- Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming

In addition to this there is also a AT&T carrier update file.

I’ve just installed it, there doesn’t seem to be much difference to anything else – maybe it’s snappier.

Thanks Mike for the firmware. Share with everyone: use the ih8snow utility. They say it bypasses firmware authentication mechanisms on itunes servers especially the 16xx errors. Google it then download. Extract the exe file. Open it first then it guides the jailbreaking process.
I have used it without any mess upon updating to 3.1.1 then now with 3.l.2. Also even without updating my itunes8.2 still i havn't encountered any errors.
      Again Thanks!
      Happy Fooling with Your iPhone!
