Skype 2.1 Beta 2 includes Screen Sharing for Linux

Skype 2.1 Beta 2 for Linux is also called as Talking Screen. Skype is very excited to announce a Talking Screen, with extra features like screen sharing, instant message quoting and support for user interface styling.

Skype also worked on improving High Quality Video and super wideband audio that have been exciting features of our Windows and Mac versions; so now the special people in your world will feel much closer and clearer on your Skype calls.

  • Support for UI styles

To get this version on your Linux, your system configuration should be of – 1GHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, 20 MB of free storage, a video card with Xv support, a microphone and headset jack.
