Sorry! HTC HD2 may not get Windows Mobile 7 soon.

No Surprise for me! Why? Keep reading..

Recently we have mentioned that “Windows Mobile 7 will soon be on HTC HD2“. This information was based from a tweet received from @HTC_Ru. Most of you were really excited about this news. We all believed a part of this, because we all know that HTC HD2 is the only device in the current market which matches with Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 7 hardware requirements.

Here comes the unexcited news: – Recent tweet from @HTC_Ru is as follows.

Unfortunately, the tweet regarding the WM7 upgrade for the HTC HD2 was posted in error and is unconfirmed at this time.
As always, we evaluate upgrades to ensure the best possible experience for our users and will be keeping you up-to-date.

This make sense because, Microsoft didn’t even officially announce Windows Mobile 7 yet. As I raised my question with a concern, When will Windows Mobile 7 be launched?  A Microsoft employee, informed us “Windows Mobile 7 will be delayed” – Read the rest here..
