Apple & Google are fierce Competitors

Sources informed that Google was in serious discussions to acquire online-music company LaLa, before Apple won the deal this month for $85 million.

Other sources also informed us that Apple was very much interested in acquiring AdMob Inc, but Google agreed to buy the start-up in November for $750 million.

Why would Apple be interested in AdMob? One reason could be, To generate more AdRevenue from AppStore Ads.

Why would Google be interested in Lala? One reason could be, To integrate Lala’s online music service into there custom made Google iPhone.

If you look back, Google and Apple were friends and then now, they have become fierce competitors while still maintaining healthy collaboration in some areas. This is the essence of competing in converging networks–vying for start-ups to adapt and evolve business models.

With this we can see Apple & Google, has super big plans. One thing we can say is- this health competition will be always good for the end user.
