Soon BlackBerry users will get Skype

BlackBerry users were not left out. Back in May 2009, Skype released its Beta version for selected users. Unfortunately, Skype couldn’t stand stable on BlackBerry devices at that point. It had issues with sending SMS and file transfer.

Now, according to Cnet, Skype is planning to land on BlackBerry with more advance features than its previous Beta release. BlackBerry users have been eagerly waiting for Skype to make VoIP calls. But, Skype didn’t confirm on when it will release its app for BlackBerry. Currently Skype is available for iPhone, Android Based devices.

We are positive that Skype will eventually release its BlackBerry version soon. So, sit on tight guys. We will keep you posted when Skype app is available for BlackBerry.
