Unlocked Nexus One will cost us $529.99

As we have promised in our recent posts, here is the price information on Nexus One.

Yes! Nexus One will be $529.99 unlocked and $179.99 if you sign up for a two-year contract with T-Mobile (Voice plan will start from $39.99 + Data plan runs at $79.99 + Other additional features. With basic plan + data it will come up to $119.98 + Tax).

As we have mention in our previous post, If you buy a $529.99 Nexus One phone, it will be a completely unlocked phone. That mean this phone can be used with any service provider with GMS technology. If you would like to get Nexus One for $179.99, then you need to sign up for a 2 Year contract with T-Mobile. If you are already with T-Mobile and you are in the 2 Year contract, you could buy a $529.99 Nexus One and be on the same contract. But, if you buy it at $179.99, then you will need to extend your contact for 2 more year.

When we talk about Apple’s iPhone – Apple is selling its Unlocked iPhone for $599 and $699 depending on the storage size but, it still has a carrier lock. That means, this iPhone can not be used with any other GSM Technology Service Provider, until and unless you get your phone unlocked with third party tool.

Google will be calling its phone Nexus One. You can only buy 5 Nexus One phone’s per Google account.

One important thing to keep in mind, if you cancel your plan before 120 days, you have to pay the subsidy difference between what you paid and the unsubsidized price, so $349.99 in this case. Or you can return the phone to Google. You also authorize them to charge this directly to your credit card.

Looks like Google, HTC and T-Mobile are getting ready for 5th January, 2010 as a Launch date.

Now the question for you, Will you go for a Locked or Unlocked Nexus One?
